DT SWISS 180 SPLINE 12mm CONVERSION KIT
CAMPESTRAL DT Swiss 180 SPLINE end caps, combined with the extremely light weight CAMPESTRAL 12-15-TA Adapter, allow the use of several DT Swiss SPLINE front wheel models utilizing a DT Swiss 180 front hub with a 12mm x 100mm thru axle Road/CX/Gravel fork.
A specific known compatibility issue is that 15TA compatible DT Swiss front hubs are available in standard 100mm width in 15mm or QR configurations only, with no existing 12mm end cap available.
The end caps for DT Swiss 15x100mm Thru Axles have an OD of 21mm at the fork interface end, which most 12mm forks will not accommodate.
CAMPESTRAL DT Swiss 180 SPLINE 12mm-Compatible 15mm end caps solve this problem and bring the durability and performance of several DT Swiss SPLINE wheel models to road, CX, and gravel use.
Available as a complete kit including CAMPESTRAL 12-15-TA Adapter, or as end caps only for use with an existing axle adapter.
CAMPESTRAL DT SWISS 180 SPLINE END CAPS

- Push-in end caps convert 2015+ DT Swiss 180 Classic Road db Center Lock black front hubs with 17mm axle and 2016+ DT Swiss Spline 1501, XMC 1200, RR21 Dicut Disc and RC Carbon front wheels with 17mm hub axles for 100x12TA forks.

DIRECTIONS:
1) Swap end caps: pull the existing end caps off of the hub axle.
2) Push CAMPESTRAL DT Swiss 180 SPLINE end caps caps on to axle.
3) Slide 12-15-TA Adapter into the 15mm hub.
4) Install wheel into fork as normal.
5) Install 12mm thru axle as normal.
NOTES:
- If the existing end caps do not “pop” off the axle easily the end cap O-ring may be dry and sticking. Put a few drops of TriFlow or similar lubricant around the edge of the end caps while turning and allow time for lubricant to reach O-ring. It may also be helpful to insert a 15TA axle or adapter to leverage the cap.
- A thin layer of grease on the O-rings inside the new CAMPESTRAL end caps is recommended.
- A thin layer of high quality grease on the outside of the adapter and the outside of the 12mm thru axle are recommended for ease of assembly and to provide an extra moisture barrier.
- Compatible with all 12mm x 100mm forks.
- Compatible with 2015+ DT Swiss Classic MTB db Center Lock black front hubs with 17mm OD hub axle and 2016+ Spline 1200, Spline 1501, XMC 1200, RR21 Dicut Disc, RC Carbon.
- Please note that the critical hub dimension for 12TA fork interfaces is the OD of the end cap, which must be 19mm or smaller. Stock DT Swiss 240 MTB 15TA end caps are 20-21mm and will not fit most 12TA forks.
- Thru axles provide compression of the fork ends where the hub end caps interface with the fork ends. Because all hubs and forks are manufactured by third parties to differing tolerances, to ensure an interference-free fit with all possible combinations the length of the CAMPESTRAL 12-15-TA Adapter is just under 100mm.
